Philosophy - Aims
Northern Greece Entrepreneurs Cultural Society is a non-profit organization, founded in 1995 by a group of Thessaloniki based entrepreneurs, aiming to intervene and contribute to the cultural policies of Northern Greece. Since 1995, the Society has launched numerous exhibitions, conferences, scientific projects and has published significant academic works.
The Society aims
- To highlight the physiognomy and identity of Thessaloniki through the history and culture of the city
- To emphasize the historical and cultural aspects of entrepreneurship
- To research on the influences and effects of the Greek civilization upon foreign cultures
Main areas of activities
- Funding, support and organization of scientific, artistic and cultural events
- Establishment of awards, scholarships and grants for cultural activities
- Publishing and offering to the public products of scientific research, literary works, music, visual arts, theatre, film, video and multimedia
- Participation in national, European and international programs of cultural content
