«Η Ελλάδα, Η Ευρώπη και ο Kόσμος ΜΕΤΑ», ανοικτή συζήτηση με ομιλητή τον καθηγητή και πρόεδρο του ΙΟΒΕ κ. Γιάννη Στουρνάρα
H Πολιτιστική Εταιρεία Επιχειρηματιών Βορείου Ελλάδος και το Δίκτυο Ναυαρίνο, διοργάνωσαν ανοιχτή συζήτηση με θέμα “Η Ελλάδα, Η Ευρώπη και ο Kόσμος ΜΕΤΑ”.
Στη συζήτηση συμμετείχε ο Γιάννης Στουρνάρας, Καθηγητής Οικονομικών στο Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και Γενικός Διευθυντής στο ΙΟΒΕ. Ο Γιάννης Στουρνάρας διατέλεσε Πρόεδρος του Συμβουλίου Οικονομικών Εμπειρογνωμόνων του Υπουργείου Οικονομίας και Οικονομικών, συμμετείχε στις διαπραγματεύσεις για την ένταξη της Ελλάδας στην ΟΝΕ, υπήρξε αντιπρόεδρος της ΔΕΠΑ και στη συνέχεια Πρόεδρος και Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της Εμπορικής Τράπεζας και Αντιπρόεδρος της Ένωσης Ελληνικών Τραπεζών.

Three talks by renowned architects Francois Roche&Stephanie Lavaux, Eva Franch and Michael Young who are invited to Thessaloniki as guest tutors for the international research workshop between Columbia University and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
The joint workshop aims to research and suggest ways of mild development and exploitation of the unique coastal area which stretches from the port of Thessaloniki to the 'Delta' system of Axios River. The area is protected by the Natura Network and Ramsar conditions, however has remained abandoned and extensively polluted for the past years. The workshop is initiated and sponsored by the Northern Greece Entrepreneurs Cultural Society.
Eco-Tales: The terra incognita of Thessaloniki’s sea line
EcoTales joint workshop between Columbia University and Aristotle University aims to research and suggest ways of mild development and exploitation of the area. During the workshop, the students will design and build a riverside fabricated structure that captures the essential idea of mild development for the protected area.
The proposals and conclusions deriving from the workshop and research will be presented at a special event and published in an edition.
The project is supervised and funded by Northern Greece Entrepreneurs Cultural Society as a contribution to the 100-year Independence anniversary of Thessaloniki in 2012.
